This market will settle at $0.00 if the named individual does not become the Prime Minister of Italy after the 2013 Italian general election.
Settlement will be based on the outcome of the election, as reported in three independent and reliable media sources.
Intrade reserves the absolute right to determine how this market will be settled (when and at what price):
- If Intrade believes the result may be contested, settlement may be delayed until any challenges to the result have been resolved.
- If Intrade believes the result is beyond doubt and will not be contested the market may be settled before the results are certified by the appropriate body.
- Intrade may settle this market before 100% of the votes have been reported if the result is beyond doubt.
Any changes to the result after the market has expired will not be taken into account (Rule 3).
Due to the nature of this market you are obligated to read Rule 4 (Unforeseen Circumstances) and Rule 5 (Time Protection). Intrade may invoke these rules in its absolute discretion if deemed appropriate.
