2008 Presidential Election Combinations

The Exchange has now listed a series of combination contracts for the 2008 U.S Presidential Elections. These contracts will be expired based on who contests the election from each party. For example, will be Clinton versus McCain, Obama versus Giuliani or Edwards versus Romney?

These contracts can be found under Politics -- US 08 Elections -- 2008 Presidential Election Combinations.

A contract will expire at 100 if BOTH persons named in the contract contest the 2008 Presidential elections as the nominees for their respective parties.

A contract will expire at 0 if either one or both persons named are not selected as the nominee for their party to contest the 2008 Presidential elections.

Any person named in a contract must contest the election as the officially selected nominee from their party. Any named person who contests the election in another capacity (including, but not limited to, as an independent) will not be considered for expiry purposes.

Expiry will be based on the official, public announcement of the Presidential nominees, as reported and verified in three independent and reliable media sources.

Any change to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule1.4.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.
