We have listed a market on what promises to be a very interesting (and most likely, bitter) race for the Democratic nomination for the Pennsylvania Senate race in 2010.

Contract Rules:
A contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if the individual named in the contract wins the Democratic nomination for the 2010 Pennsylvania Senate Race
A contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if the individual named in the contract does not win the Democratic nomination for the 2010 Pennsylvania Senate Race
Expiry will be based on the official confirmation of the Democratic nominee, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources.
This market will be expired once the nominee is confirmed. Any change of nominee after this will not affect the original expiry.
In the event of the death of any listed candidate the market will be paused and settled at the last close price set for each contract. If no close price is available the last trade price will be used. (These prices may be adjusted to ensure all settlement prices total to exactly 100.)

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.
Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
