Will Euna Lee and Laura Ling be released by North Korea?

Euna Lee and Laura Ling are two American journalists detained by North Korean soldiers along the China-North Korea border in March 2009. North Korean authorities have indicated they will be put on trial for illegal entry and "hostile acts".

We have opened a market for the release of the detained journalists. This market can be found under Current Events -- North Korea.

Contract Rules:

This contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if Euna Lee and/or Laura Ling are released by North Korea before midnight on the date specified in the contract.  

The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if if Euna Lee and/or Laura Ling are not released by North Korea before midnight on the date specified in the contract.  

This market will be expired if one or both of the detained journalists are released.  

Expiry will be based on official announcements from the US Government, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.

Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
