The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if there is no withdrawal of Tom Daschle as nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services

Expiry will be based on official announcements from Tom Daschle and/or the White House, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources before Senate confirmation.

The contract will be expired at 100 once any withdrawal is announced. Once the nomination is given a confirmation vote by the US Senate the contract will be expired at 0. The outcome of any confirmation vote is not relevent to the expiry of this contract.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.

Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
