Venezuela or Ecuador to declare war on Colombia

The Exchange has listed a series of contracts on either Venezuela or Ecuador formally declaring war on Colombia. These contracts can be found under Current Events -- South America -- Venezuela or Ecuador to declare war on Colombia.

Contract Rules:

A contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if either Ecuador OR Venezuela officially declare war on Columbia before 11:59:59pm ET on the date specified in the contract.

A contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if NEITHER Ecuador OR Venezuela officially declare war on Columbia before 11:59:59pm ET on the date specified in the contract.

Expiry will be based on any official declaration of war by the governments of Ecuador or Venezuela, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources.

Important: an official declaration of war must be made for this contract to expire. If fighting breaks out without a declaration of war the contract will not be expired.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.

Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
