Israeli-Palestinian Peace Treaty

The Exchange has listed a contract on a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians being signed before the end of President George W. Bush's term in office.

This contract can be under Current Events -- Middle East -- Israeli - Palestinian Peace Treaty.

Contract Rules:

This contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians is signed before 11:59:59pm ET on January 20th, 2009.

The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if a peace pact between Israel and the Palestinians is NOT signed before 11:59:59pm ET on January 20th, 2009.

A peace treaty must be signed by the appropriate officials from Israel and the Palestinian Authority required to make it official.

Expiry will be based on official announcements from the parties involved in the peace treaty process and as reported in three independent and reliable media sources.

A peace treaty needs only to be signed for the contract to be expired. It does not need to be implemented.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.

Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
