The Exchange has listed a contract on the outcome of the OJ Simpson Las Vegas Robbery trial. This contract can be found under Legal -- O.J Simpson -- Las Vegas Robbery Case Outcome.
This contract will settle (expire) at 100
($10.00) if:
- OJ Simpson is found guilty of at least one of the
12 charges laid against in a trial by jury or judge
- OJ Simpson pleads
guilty to one (or more) of the 12 charges laid against him
- OJ Simpson
pleads guilty to one (or more) of the 12 charges laid against him as part of a
plea agreement
The contract will settle
(expire) at 0 ($0.00) if (including, but not limited to):
- OJ
Simpson is found not guilty in a trial by jury or judge
- All charges are
dropped
- The case is dismissed
- There is a mistrial
- OJ Simpson
pleads guilty only to lesser charges as part of a plea agreement (please note
that if he pleads guilty to any of the original charges as part of plea
agreement the contract will expire at 100)
The contracts will be paused
if possible when the jury is due to announce its verdict and will be expired as
soon as that decision is made public.
This contract refers only to the
original 12 charges laid against OJ Simpson. Any further charges laid at a later
date by state or federal authorities will not be considered for expiry
purposes.
The end date on the contract is for indication purposes only.
This date may be extended if necessary.
Due to the nature of this

The
Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if
deemed appropriate.
Any changes to the result after the contract has
expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4

The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if O.J Simpson DOES NOT go to trial for at least one charge laid against him in connection with the Las Vegas robbery case. This can include (but is not limited to):
- O.J Simpson pleading guilty
- The charges being dropped by prosecutors
- A plea bargain being agreed that stops the case going to trial
Expiry will be based on official, public announcements as reported in independent and reliable media sources.
The contract will be expired when a trial officially begins.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.
