This contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if the candidate from the party specified in this contract wins this Senate seat.
The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if the candidate from the party specified in this contract does not win this Senate seat.
Expiry will be based on the officially declared winner of the election, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources.
This market will remain open until an official winner has been declared. If there is court action to settle the winner then the market will remain open until this has been settled.
Notes on Individual Races:
Joe Miller is the official Republican candidate in Alaska. If Miller wins the Republican contract will expire at 100. Lisa Murkowski is running a write-in campaign as a Republican but because she is not the official Republican candidate if Murkowski wins the Other contract will be expired at 100 and the Republican contract will be expired at 0.
Charlie Crist is running in Florida as an Independent. Should Crist win the seat the Other contract will expire at 100.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.
